Happy Big Band

Happy Big Band Kladno was established in 2006 from a school orchestra. The idea behind the project is to give a chance to joung jazzmen. Its ultimate goal is to allow beginers to work alongside with established professionals.
Repertoir is based on swing era (Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Neal Hefti ad.) proportionally is present jazz-rock (Joe Zawinul, Herbie Hancock and others). Orchestra has presented itself on various jazz festivals and shows, for instance, Žižvská smršť - Praha, Jazz Festival Duba a Slánské jazzové dny.
